When owning a website, two things must happen:

• Hosting - Your web site needs a home (a domain) - this we offer for free or for a small monthly fee. There is a once-off setup fee of R50.

• Registration - A registrar needs to be told where to find your website. For this your details need to be registered once and then renewed each year. This you can do or we can do it for you at a cost of R250 + the registration fee itself. Its up to you.

hostgeeks is a product of Time Software (reg no: CK 93/02715/23), the South African software development company, makers of the world-renowned school administration application, TS School. As you can see from our registration number, we've been around since 1993.

• Whenever you choose a plan (paid or free), you must pay all sign-up fees to get started.

• Because we offer unmetered bandwidth for paid plans, we do not welcome bandwidth abuse - all our clients have to share the same bandwidth freely - not abusively! If your site abuses bandwidth, we will terminate your account after formally warning you twice via email.

• To change plans, the previous plan must be paid in full, then sign up as a new client.

• Payment for paid plans must always be made by the 1st day of each month.

• We do not pro-rate. Therefore you can get up to 30 days free for paid plans.

• We check the payment of all paid accounts on the 8th of each month. If a payment has not yet reflected on our bank statements, the domain is automatically suspended. To reactivate a suspended account costs R100 + the amount owing. We therefore strongly recommend payment via debit order).

• Positively NO REFUNDS.

• We do NOT charge interest - so there is no dispute about what is owing.

• Your site must positively have NO illegal content or activity; eg: illegal gambling sites; illegal mp3 download sites; illegal pornographic sites, etc. Any such site will be permanently deleted. No exceptions. We do not associate ourselves with any illegal content or activity.

• Strictly NO download sites of any nature.

• If you wish to move to another hosting company, we will only free your site once all outstanding monies are paid in full.

• The terms and conditions may change from time to time. You agree to subject yourself to future terms and conditions. Therefore you need to constantly be aware of the terms and conditions.

• Rates and prices may change from time to time. You automatically subject yourself to these changes. However, we do strive to remain extremely competitive in order to keep you as a valued client and of course to attract new clients.

• Time Software shall not be held liable by yourself, anyone or any entity (legal or otherwise) for anything whatsoever.
